This isn’t exactly groundbreaking news since we’re talking about Snoop Dogg here, but the mary jane enthusiast got a little caught up on Thursday morning (June 28) at a Norway Airport. Snoop was detained by airport security after customs officers stumbled upon the 8 grams of weed tucked away in his luggage.
Snoop was stopped at the customs department of Kjevik Airport in Kristiansand, Norway, where officials discovered the drugs and instantly took action. Luckily for Snoop, in Norway anything less than 15 grams is only punishable by a fine. This violation cost the Doggfather 12,000 Norwegian Krone which is equivalent to about $1,980.13 American dollars. TMZ reports that Snoop was extremely cooperative and quickly took care of the fine.
Aside from that slight drama, Snoop does have something to celebrate, with his 15 year-old son recently receiving a scholarship offer to play football for UCLA. Cordell Broadus currently plays football at Diamond Bar High School in Diamond Bar, California and word is that the 6-2” 185 lb wide receiver has a very promising sports career in his future. Cordell joins Diddy’s son, Justin Combs who also recently accepted a UCLA scholarship but is facing scrutiny as local taxpayers claim that Puff can foot the bill for tuition.
